It's true that LL is outstanding. The marine life is superb and your chances of seeing what you are coming over for - i.e. often hammer heads, but don't rule out the pygmee sea horse - are great. Do note, however, that it's still wild life we are looking at, sea conditions can be rough and viz may be low (I know: often because of plankton and that raises ones chances for encounters with whale sharks, manta's and other plankton feeders, but if you don't see them....). Also note that the equipment rented out by the dive centre is not very up to date and suits may not be warm enough - do bring what you have with you. All in all comes this place very highly recommend.
PS we especially like to compliment the resort's staff that impressed by preparing food and other needs for our 10 months old daughter, with the help of a baby sitter that we did bring along. On a final note: it's not very common to bring (young) kids to this remote island. |
