   Dyer Island, Shark Alley

I recently dived here with literally hundreds of seals. It was excellent! Vis. was around 5-6 mts. and the sharks were feeding off the island closer to shore. I recommend diving with Russel, British owner of Dare2Dive, you can find him on Mainstreet 59 in Gansbaai (www.dare2dive.co.uk). He's very reliable and he knows what he's doing. We also jo ined him in a dive to a wreck off Danger Point, the HMS Birkehead. Max depth 30 mts and vis. was around 5-6 mts. The water is very cold and the sea can be a bit rough, but Russel and the famous Great White expert Andre Hartman moored the vessel so descent and ascent is a bit easier.
Enjoy!
