Miri has added a new dive site called Baram 8 Rig To Reef. This is a oil rig turn artificial reef. The rig structure was laid in 20m underwater in November 2004. When the next dive season starts in April it will certainly become a spectacular dive site - the only one found in Malaysia. You could expect lots of interesting marine life on it. |
