  Deals or luck

With last minute deals one can go to this area very cheap. Costs of living are low, although almost anywhere bargaining is the keyword to get fair and low prices. Even about the price of diving, deals can be made. So we did, regarding a three-day live-a-board (Hurghada-Safaga area).
Once on the water and especially once underwater, it is all luck – or is it good timing. In that respect it is widely known that summer season is supposed to be much better than the wintertime that we have been here (on a side note: deals will not be as good, I suppose). To summarize the diving and marinelife we encountered: morays, more morays, rays, lionfishes, and other “typical Red Sea stuff”, but far from spectacular. I wouldn’t recommend going on such a trip in winter season.
