Divestart.com is an initiative by two enthusiastic Dutch dive amateurs. Driven by our passion for marine animals, but disappointed in the ability to know where to go to see them, we setup Divestart.com. This website is the result of a spreadsheet that got out of hand. We were collecting information on Marinelife in different parts of the world and thought that the information should benefit others as well. We had some knowledge of the Internet, some programming skills, some time and most important, a lot of passion for diving. You are looking at the result of that mixture.

We hope that other dive enthusiasts, like yourself, will benefit from the provided information. For both the quality and the quantity of the information provided on this site we also depend on you. Therefore, we request both professional and amateur divers to help us building this unique and free tool by providing new dive spot information and reviews.
