Description:
Herceg Novi is famous for its trees. There are palms, japonica and other special trees which blossom in winter. They were brought to Montenegro by sailors from different countries. They got acclimatized and spread their flavour all over the country in February. They even organise a carneval because of the trees. Although people in Montenegro seem to be reserved, they like celebrating.
There are some fortresses alongside the coast. Tourists can see many castle ruins.
Underwater there is much to see as well. There are amazing dive site's, from any kind: caves and cavern, nice uw-tunnels, wracs, deep walls. | |
