Description:
The Finger Lakes of New York State were formed during the last glacial ice age. Following earlier stream channels, the Wisconsin glacier dug deep "U" shaped valleys which filled with meltwater. Maintained by rainwater runoff, these lakes are both clear and clean. Depths can exceed 600 feet. | | | Details: |
