Fresh water river and lake sites in the local area provide an interesting mix of aquatic wildlife and water conditions. Modern and historical wrecks and interesting geological features are available within a short drive of the city. Variable temperatures from warm summer water in the 70's to ice-diving in winter. Dive sites at all levels from beginner to technical are available.
