Description:
We have "man-made resevoirs" called lakes near these citys and there is only relatively small fresh water aquatic algae and fish to see, on occasion. Definately a reasonable alternative for training and quick trip day diving. Our area's closest salt water diving is in the Nort end of the Sea of Cortez (aka: the Gulf of California) and Southern California. Being a desert community we generally look forward to travelling by air to the cool spots around the globe to dive and recreate. It gives us desret bound types something wonderful to look forward to between trips, you see.
