Description:
Espiritu Santo island is the biggest Island in Vanuatu. During the WW2, Americans built biggest army base on Santo for the South Pacific during the WW2, left thousand of equipment remine. James Mitchener based here during the war, and later he wrote "Tales of South Pacific" which become famous musical movie in America. 90% of island is covered by jungle, coconuts, cocoa, Vanilla plantations and Cattle farms, with secluded beaches, freshwater Blue Holes, Caves and Custom villages still living the same way for thousand of years. | |
