Description:
The British Virgin Islands (BVI) are comprised of 36 islands (16 of which are inhabited)in the Caribbean east of Puerto Rico, north of the Leeward Islands, and adjacent to the U.S. Virgin Islands. They have a total population of aprox 19,000. The principal islands are Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Anegada and Jost Van Dyke.
