Coastal fish & Reef Life
Nudibranchs; These beautiful little creatures are found all over our reef here on the Sunshine Coast. To date, there have been over 140 species identified and photographed with at least 1 new species, previously unrecorded.
Green turtles
Sited regularly on most dives.
Loggerhead turtles
Loggerhead turtles are seen either on the surface or underwater on virtually every dive during March to September.
Stingrays
Blue Spotted Sting Rays are very common over the entire Gneering Shoals reef area.
Wobbegong sharks
Wobbegogng sharks are quite common on the Gneering Shoals. This is an extensive area of soft and hard coral covering and combination of volcanic rock and sandy bottom.
