They are very shy and will move away from divers and snorkellers but do approach the boat.

| | | Humpback whales |  | | | | | |  | | | | | | | | The Humpback Whales arrive in the area around the beginning to middle of June, with July, August and September the best months to spot them more or less daily.
| | | Manta rays | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | More or less guaranteed daily sightings of multiple manta rays at Manta Reef and regularly at The Oasis and Galleria dive sites. All these reefs have cleaning stations. We have seen up to 20 giant (6m) mantas being cleaned at at one time on Manta Reef. The mantas are here all year round.
