Description:
The Costal waters around the UAE are rich in a variety of marine and coral life as well as shipwrecks, which make diving here a facinating sport. It's possible to dive all year in the warm seas. As well as exotic fish, such as clownfish and seahorses, it is possible to see spotted eagle rays, moray eels, small sharks, barracuda, sea snakes stingrays and much more.
The UAE is fortune to have two coastlines to the west, covering Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah etc, and on the east Coast , covering Fujairaha, Khorfakkan, Dibba ect. Most of the wrecks are on the western coast, while the beautiful flora and fauna of coral reefs can be seen to the east.
There are many dive sites that are easily accessible from Khorfakkan and provide some great diving. visibility reanges from 5 - 20 meters. | | | Details: |

Seasonality: KhorFakkan climate is idyllic from November to April with warm sunny days, cool evenings and low humidity. Daytime temperatures range from 14 to 28 degrees C.
You can expect some rainfall and tropical storms during January, February and March. From May to September the climate is hot with midday temperatures in July and August reaching in excess of 40 degrees C. Even the nights are warm averaging 25 degrees C. The sea temperature is around 29 in the summer dipping to 23 in the winter. During the summer months a shorty wet suit, or even no wet suit is fine, although Khor Fakkan is prone to themoclines. During the winter, full length 3 or 5 mm suits are necessary. |
